Shipping & Handling

Delivery Time Frame
We ship from our warehouse located in Los Angeles, CA.

We estimate the delivery time frame by adding the Handling Time and Shipping Transit Time.

Delivery Time Frame = Handling Time + Shipping Transit Time (from the time you placed the order & the amount of time we process the order at our warehouse)

NOT all orders will be shipped on the same day because certain items require 1 to 2 days of handling time. If you choose Expedited shipping option (eg: UPS Next Day Air/2nd Day Air/ 3 Day Select), it does not necessarily mean you will receive the order in one, two or three days.

Handling time is calculated from the time you placed the order and the amount of time we prepare the order at our warehouse. Handling time is usually 1 to 2 business days (excluding Saturday and Sunday). Usually, most orders placed before 10 a.m. PST (Tuesday-Friday) can be shipped on the same day with an exception of certain items that require 1 to 2 days handling time. Orders placed on Friday (after 10am PCT), Saturday, Sunday will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday. Orders placed on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday.

Shipping Cost
We ship within US (including APO and US territories) and to Canada only.

We ship the orders via US Postal Mail Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). Shipping rate is based on the package weight and shipping method. It is automatically calculated when an item is placed in the shopping cart. You may choose the desire shipping method at the check out process and you may view the shipping rate before submitting the payment. For shipment within US (except APO/FPO and US territories) and to Canada, you may calculate the shipping cost directly in the shopping basket before the checkout process.

Shipping Method
We ship the orders via US Postal Mail Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). The following are the shipping methods available:

Within US
1)UPS Ground. Transit time is 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays). For estimate transit time, please view UPS Ground transit map.
2)UPS 3 Day Select. Transit time is 3 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays).
3)UPS 2nd Day Air. Transit time is 2 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays).
4)UPS Next Day Air. Transit time is 1 business day and delivery will be made by 10am (excluding weekend and public holidays).
5)UPS Next Day Air Saver. Transit time is 1 business day and delivery will be made by 3pm (excluding weekend and public holidays).
6)US Postal Mail Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Transit time is 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays).
7)US Postal Mail Service (USPS) Parcel Post First Class Mail. Transit time is 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays).

To Canada
1)US Postal Mail Service (USPS) Priority Mail. Transit time is 6 to 10 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays) plus custom clearance time.
2)US Postal Mail Service (USPS) Parcel Post First Class Mail. Transit time varies by destination. Usually takes 7 to 30 business days (excluding weekend and public holidays) plus custom clearance time.

All shipments within US include shipping insurance and tracking number. Shipments to Canada include shipping insurance only.


Custom Duties & Taxes
For international orders, please note that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.


Shipping Standards for Lithium Batteries and Lithium-ion Batteries (updated on 11/18/2008)
1. The Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) have revised some new shipping regulations on lithium batteries and lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries . Lithium or lithium-ion (Li-ion) are types of chemical component that can be found in certain batteries. Example of lithium batteries are watch batteries, camera batteries (type CR-2023, CR-2016, CR123A, etc...). Example of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries are digital camera batteries, cell phone batteries, laptop batteries, etc. 2. Lithium battery can only be shipped via Standard shipping only. Standard shipping represents USPS First Class, Parcel Mail and UPS Ground. NO Expedited (Priority or Air Transportation) are allowed for lithium batteries. If customer purchased Lithium battery and selected Expedited shipping option, MegaHitech.com will revised the shipping option to Standard shipping and adjust the shipping fee. Hitech will also notify the customer regarding the revision. 3. Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery can be shipped via Standard and Expedited. However, it is only limited to 3 batteries per mailpiece/package. If order quantity is more than 3, we will ship the batteries in separate shipments.  



Payment & Security

We accept payment via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Disover, American Express) and PayPal. Our website uses PayPal Website Standard Payment to process payment transactions. PayPal Website Standard Payment is a convenient and secure way to make payment. PayPal adheres to international PCI (Payment Card Industry) and CISP (Cardholder Information Security Program) standards for data protection. Because PayPal handles the payment card information, your sensitive financial information will not be stored in our system and you will be worry-free. Plus you do not need to have a PayPal account for payment via credit card.



Return Policy

Warranty All Hitech merchandise are new and free of defects in material/workmanship. Most products have warranty that covers manufacturer defects and the warranty period differs by product type. The warranty does not cover defects caused by alteration / modification / repair / normal tear & wear / misuse or physical abuse of product. Any permanent markings on item will void the warranty.


Return Merchandise Authorization All returns must be made within 30 Days of purchase of the products. Only Hitech merchandise is accepted for RMA. Please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA # is only valid for 14 days and Hitech must receive return products within the 14 days. No refunds will be made to any return items received after 14 days of RMA # been issued. Customer is responsible for all the shipping expenses. All RMA must be shipped with a tracking # or delivery confirmation #. All RMA products are subject to be tested / evaluated before a refund or replacement can be made. NOTE: All RMA open item products are subject to 15%-25% restocking fee and depending on the condition of the return item or the situation of the problem. Refunds for return items do not include the shipping fee paid for the order. If item arrives DOA (dead on arrival) or an incorrect item received, please contact MegaHitech.com within 2 days upon receipt of item.
